Getting your possessions moved from your current location to your new destination. We will be wrapping up your furniture in blankets and disassemble and assemble your basic furniture. We will also secure your floors and door frames with blanket and cardboard.
We are sorry, but that won’t be possible. Unfortunately movers are not allowed to have someone in back of the truck for safety and liability purposes.
Unfortunately not! We cannot provide a safe place in the moving truck to transport pets. The temperatures in the back of the trucks can get very hot and this would be potentially hazardous for your pet. Moving is traumatic for most pets as it is, so it is best, if you make sure their safety, emotionally and physically is taken care of. If you are not sure that you can provide that for your pet, boarding them at a kennel for that day or the time during the move, might be another option.
Movers can not move hazardous items such as propane tanks, firearms, paint, and aerosols, due to the conditions in the truck could cause these items to ignite or explode. It might be safer to dispose of such dangerous items rather than to try and move them yourself. Also please ensure that fuel operated tools, like your lawn mover are empty of any gas or fuel before they are being moved.
Yes, either you or a representative needs to be available throughout the entire move. Since there are usually a number of questions, our movers will need to have someone available to answer them in order for the move to go smoothly. It is also important to have someone there at the time of the move, so our movers can verify, which items are going to be moved and which aren’t.
